We pray that everyone and their loved ones are safe and well. On arrival of Ramadan, there are two beautiful and virtuos months before it: Rajab and Sha’ban. Whoever fasts (even one day) during the month of Rajab gets Allah’s pleasure.
Important Fasting Dates:
13th, 14th, & 15th lunar days: June 3rd, 4th, & 5th
Here are some virtues of Rajab:
1. The month of Rajab, in its superabundant favors and benefits, reverence and sanctity, is next to none. It is linked to Allah (SWT) as Sha’ban to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and Ramadan to his Ummah.
2. Ask forgiveness and turn repentant to Allah (SWT) as much as you can because mercy drops from the heaven like a gentle rain in the month of Rajab
3. Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas at least 100 times (1000 or 10000 times will accrue more rewards) in the month of Rajab.
4. Keep fast on any day in the month of Rajab, except friday. You either have to fast (with it) a day after it or before it.
Jazakom Allah Khaira! :)

Month of Rajab - شهر رجب
We pray that everyone and their loved ones are safe and well. On arrival of Ramadan, there are two beautiful and virtuos months before it: Rajab and Sha’ban. Whoever fasts (even one day) during the month of Rajab gets Allah’s pleasure. Prophet Muhammed (SAWS) says, “The one who observes one fast in rajab it is as if one has fasted for forty years.”
He (SAWS) also says, “In Paradise there is a canal named Rajab. Its water is whiter than milk, cooler than ice and sweeter than honey. The one who observes even a single fast in Rajab, he/she will be entitled to drink its water.”
Important Fasting Dates:
1st day of Rajab: Tuesday 22nd

5. Here is a tradition reported by Abu Darda (Allah be pleased with him). Allah’s Messenger says, “The one who observes a fast in Rajab, it is as if he/she has observed fast for the whole life and remained busy in nights worshipping the Almighty Allah.”
Jazakom Allah Khaira! :)

When a man has knowledge of the deen, he can lead his family with respect.
When a woman has knowledge of the deen, she can lead her children in humility.
When children have knowledge of the deen, they can lead their parents to Jannah.

The Advice of Sayedna Omar (RA)
- Place the affairs of your brother when they reach you upon the best of interpretations until there comes to you clarity which overcomes that.
- Do not think ill of a statement which comes from another Muslim if you can find a good interpretation for it.
- Whoever exposes himself to suspicion let him not blame those who then think badly of him, and whoever conceals his own and his brothers secrets, strength of choice will be in his hands.
- Hold fast to truthful companions, live with them closely for they are a charm at times of ease and an aid at times of difficulty.
- Stick to the truth even if the truth kills you,
- Do not ask about things which haven’t taken place for indeed, that which has already taken place is enough to preoccupy you from it!
- Do not seek help or take your affairs to someone who doesn’t wish to see you succeed, and do not befriend the sinful lest you learn from his sins and evil.
- Keep away from your enemy and be cautious of even your friend, except for the truthful and trusted friend.
- And no-one is trustworthy except him who fears Allah.
- Do not involve yourself with issues that don’t concern you.
- Humble yourself at the graves, lower yourself in obedience and stand firm against disobedience.
- And when it comes to your affairs, seek counsel only from those who truly fear Allah for indeed, Allah says,
“…Indeed, it is only those who have knowledge among His Slaves, that truly fear Allah.” [al-Fatir:28]
